Better Late Than Never

I was engrossed in a topsy turvy Wimbledon ladies final today and forgot to get a blip or top up the feeders. They were empty when I went out late afternoon, and after I topped them up the birds flocked in. Not surprising given it's been such another cold and wet day (only 14.6C max and 86.8mm of rain so far in July). I was determined not to put the heating on, but ended up wearing a fleece to watch the final.....it's mid July!!! Fortunately it looked a little bit better at Wimbledon. So nice to see a final where there's a good news story with both of the players in the final, plus we've a new Wimbledon champion - well done to both players. The juvenile coal tit was back again, it's braver than the adults.
