Skillet

I put D's cast iron pan to good use today, cooking some mini American biscuits. They're not perfect but a pretty good imitation of the real thing - savory, salty, buttery scones basically. Perfect warm with a little more butter.

It's a cool grey day out. H has sadly gone away to stay with her grandparents this week as D and I both have to work. I'm sure they'll have fun but we'll miss her.
