Marbled White

I was going for a walk this morning but when I got into the orchard I could see one or two Skippers and then, to my absolute delight, I saw this marbled white butterfly.  Unfortunately it was the only one I could see and is really worrying. I’m also managed to get a quick shot of a gatekeeper.

Back home Imdid a bit of tidying up in the garden, sweeping huge amounts of lime tree pollen in and around d the patio.  The flower pods and petals will be next to fall.

The women’s final was a good match.  I would have liked Paolini to win, but it was nice to see a new winner.
