Rain...Again!

Yesterday afternoon (when I went into the garden to get my Flower Friday blip) I noticed that the grass was dry - ususual this year! Fortunately I then grabbed the lawn mower and gave the lawn its first mowing for about a month. Just as well I did as it's poured with rain all morning today (although it does seem to have stopped, at least for a while, as I write this - 3pm).

I guess the advantage of all the rain this year is that the lawn is much greener and healthier-looking than it usually is in July. There has to be a "Silver Lining" in the (rain) clouds! :-))
