Still Alive

Despite my appearance in the picture, I am still not at all well, I am only comfortable when completely straight, either standing or laying down, if I bend, try to sit down, or do anything that deviates my body from being dead-straight, my legs are in agony. In consequence, I have been laying on the bed all day except for a few brief excursions downstairs (with great difficulty) for comfort breaks, this being one of them, during which Mrs GOG gave me the ice cream.

Despite the fact that any bending whatsoever puts my legs in agony, the medical opinion is that there is not a back problem!!! I see yet another specialist next Tuesday, but I will have to travel by train and bus to the hospital so that I can stand all the way; if I were to sit, it would require an ambulance crew to get me back up again.
