Over the garden fence

I looked up from doing some online stuff this morning, to see this plump bird sat on the fence. Not sure if he only has one foot, as that is a metal pole behind him!  Got excited at first, that it was something unusual, but I believe it's just a young wood pigeon. Sorted out my travel insurance for December, which by the time you've declared all your medical issues, at my age, it works out expensive. But, it's got to be done, although there are reciprocal health agreements between Australia and the UK. It's just the actual travelling that I need to cover.  Might even ask for airport assistance...!
