Wedding Anniversary

Yes, it’s our 44th Wedding Anniversary!
We had a lovely relaxing day, starting with a delicious breakfast cooked by David. After that we wandered around Downtown Fort Worth together, exploring some new places that we had found in a book David gifted me with - “A Brief History of Fort Worth”. Unfortunately some of the places have been shut down since the guide was printed!

We did manage to visit our favorite little home made ice cream shop and purchased a couple of tubs to go in our freezer for another day.

I had reserved a table for dinner at “Rise Soufflé”, which is referred to as “A one-of-a-kind dining experience, designed to nourish your body and soul”. I started with the Marshmallow Soup - which is my favorite (hint - not marshmallows!), followed by the Salad Niçoise and ending with a KeyLime Soufflé.
