Birthday Flowers at Cafe Frida.

I was really going for the flowers so I didn't get a good picture of the entire cast of characters at coffee this morning. The occasion was Gail's birthday. Caroline, who cleans all of our houses, brought a hibiscus plant. Dan on the right made gluten free carrot muffins, Mamadou, center, provided drinks and Tobi, out of shot, brought the flowers for Gail, also out of shot, for her birthday today. We were at our summer venue, Mamadou's Café Frida because the garden is so pleasant. Mamadou.  brought his son, Marcello, extra, who really enjoyed the cupcake! I've also put a picture of Tobi in extras.The dogs, Trixie and Spike were pretty good guests. We didn't get the memo, so we'll have to play catch up. 

By the time we had put in about an hour in the garden it was getting to be too hot to be out there so we've resumed our indoor activities. I rode the Peloton and painted my toenails. John worked on his puzzle and came in and asked me if I wanted to 'shoot that person'  'What person?,' I asked, rather taken aback. 'The person telling you what to do on the bike', he said. Explaining that that actually made the ride more interesting and the time go faster seemed pointless since he won't go near the bike....

Cindy and Hazel are coming soon to play with us and Spike, respectively. Just in time for wine...chilled white!
