Cat on Step

My sister asked yesterday whether Aduro was my favourite of our two cats, as she gets photographed more; she might be, but it's more because she's always near me, whereas her sister lives more outdoors. So, here is Feathers, on the step of the North Wing, as we ate our breakfast - Mike has made a lean-to of palm leaves to shade the door from the morning sun.

Gratefuls:
- listening to a distressed colleague for an hour, which I think helped her
- Mike being able to help Netty with a car problem
- my sister helping me find a photo Deb had asked for, of our Mum homeschooling us both, deep in the Amazonian jungle, on the Manjurú River, a tributary of a tributary, etc, of the Amazon (in extra; I'm the one writing on the board)
And congratulations to her and Dave on 44 years of surviving (and thriving even) marriage!
