The end of an era. Eva's last day at primary school. We went in this afternoon for the leavers assembly. Miss Johnson did a PowerPoint show with photos of each kid and said a bit about them. Then each kid talked about their fondest memories of school (a lot of people said about when Eva shook the black paint bottle and the lid came off and covered the classroom in black paint!) 

She also gave them certificates. Eva was voted person most likely to have a film made about her by her classmates and for the person who redecorated the classroom. 

Then Miss J played a video she had made of all the kids which ended with them all in a circle with Miss J in the middle filming. She zoomed in on each child waving goodbye. We were all in tears. The kids also performed a song to the tune of end of beginning by Djo (very fitting) but with the words changed to be about them leaving school. 

After a few quick photos with her friends we whisked her off to the airport and we're now in Majorca for a long awaited week in the sun (hopefully!)
