Happy Ending

A cool, grey day.   There was a promise of brightness out to sea as I set out with Meg along the riverbank path this evening and as we returned that promise began to be fulfilled - extra pics.   By this stage there was also the promise of something special at sunset and I wasn't disappointed.  We get more than our share of lovely sunsets here, this was one of the best :-)

Otherwise a tired sort of day.   Assorted admin, I got a sample from Mum to the health centre and later got Jamie to a GP appointment that never was - they rang him and booked it but it wasn't on the list when we turned up.  We shopped on the way back to his after which I retired to watch the climax of today's stage of Le Tour before having a lengthy snooze.   Food and a walk.  You know the rest.
