A winning topper

I have often mentioned Basil and Blue, the very successful little coffee shop that enjoys an eye-catching position at the entrance to Chobham High Street. And just a few yards away, the latest postbox topper outside the Chobham Rider shop celebrates Basil and Blue winning the Muddy Stilletos cafe of the year award for Surrey. I am not too familiar with Muddy Stilletos but believe it is a website that showcases places to visit and things to do on a county by county basis. So, it's quite a triumph for Basil and Blue whose new owner has built on what Vonny,  the cafe's founder, had already achieved with a growing range of community activities and live music. They've also introduced a very refreshing iced coffee soda recently which goes very nicely with one of their nutty blondies.
