A Long Journey Home

An early start today to drive home to Plymouth. A good journey initially with a stop at Tyntesfield. All well then until the traffic came to a standstill just north of Exeter. On the opposite side of the barrier there was no traffic at all. The M5 had been closed in both directions following a serious accident! Over the next 2-3 hours the whole scene was quite surreal. No traffic noise, people walking their dogs and even doing Yoga on the carriageway! Everyone calm and friendly. Made some unlikely friendships and parted shaking hands like old friends!
