Edinburgh Castle

Went into town to watch some of the World Orienteering Championships. The finish line was at the Ross Bandstand in Princes Street Gardens right under the Castle.

Walked along to see the floral clock & saw some of the runners sprinting down the steps.

Saw some of the Mens runners but didn't see the Women's race.

Sat for a while & chatted with some seat sharers about what was happening. Good atmosphere, lots of travelling fans & runners. Edinburgh busy with the school holidays & it being a sunny day.

Bought a map of the route & T-shirt to help funds for local events.
