Just arrived

I finished the cardigan for my niece for her birthday, and I always need to be thinking about what comes next. We were at N's brothers for lunch on Monday and was talking with my sister-in-law about ordering wool for a jumper. I usually knit with mixed yarns, acrylic with wool is my usual, it's affordable and gives a good result. My sister-in-law prefers pure wool which is considerably more expensive, but it's a delight to knit with. We chose some wool, ordered online, and it arrived yesterday afternoon. Today I started the next project, it's in double knit weight so it will take a while, but it's a beautiful colour and it's knitting up well.
