Rosehips already

These hips seem quite early to be this ripe already. They're gorgeous though, beautifully filled out and inviting, if they’re your favourite dish.
It’s day one of my mum’s cardiac rehab, which basically is down to my brother and me. I’ve spent hours on the phone talking to various medics, learning how we manage this. She has slept a lot today, the best cure of course, but it’s going to be a long road. I’m very tired but can’t quite switch off…
