Today's the day ............................ to catch up

I thought I'd bring you up to date with my blip back in March, when I was reporting on the possible sighting of a goldfish in the pond.  

The thought that any fish could have survived the winter in there, when it completely froze over several times, was quite a miraculous one - not to mention the fact that we have never put any form of fishfood in there either.  So, it really is a minor miracle that we find ourselves with two large fish (maybe 6-inches long) - and about thirty or so ordinary-size goldfish, which seem to start off black and eventually turn golden?!

As you can see above, I managed to catch the two big ones, that are very sluggish and seem to spend hours hardly moving at all - and one of the 'babies', that chase each other about the pond at high speed.

It's truly amazing .........................!
