It went smack down the fairway

My poor wee toon. 

We have been invaded. 

On my way home tonight I believe there was in excess of 2000 traffic cones.   In addition to the stands, and walkways and car parks which have taken over all the nearby fields, therre was a "physiotherapy centre",  "Players Gym" 

We have a pass to get us into the Allotment, because the Rugby Pitch and Community Golf Courses have been converted to Camp Sites, with secure access. 

One of the main roads into the town has terrorist resistant road bollards up and a security gate. 

Empty shop has bill boards up.   All the shops are opening late, but also emailing all their customers to tell them to take extra time to get into town because of the "one-way" system and parking ban. 

Oh heavens. 

I just looked at the camp site details - it's all sold out Wed / Thur / Fri / Sat.    £70 and £50 per person per night.  

This is only one of the camp sites!!! Can you imagine how much money they are raking in.
