I am the world's greatest Klutz...

Willow and I have new friends at the yard, a mare friend for Willow who he shares the field with, and her human who we go on hacks with. 

Today, my clumsiness nearly made a big dent in that fresh friendship... 

My friend helped me do Willow's hooves and even sharpened the hoof knife that proved to be not sharp enough, and then she helped me in holding up the hoof. I pulled a Klutz Mareike and cut her below her wrist in a length of at least 3cm, rather 5cm, nearly as deep as the pulse arteries and very close to the tendon.

The world stood still for a moment, then we looked at each other. She immediately pressed her fingers on the wound and I ran and fetch bandage stuff to do a pressure bandage. Never knew that I am that fast at doing it! 

As she is only 28, she is still indestructible and claims it will be totally fine within two days.
