inkface's year

pinkness

This is a really old rambling rose, I think it may be called ‘Dorothy Perkins’ but I’m not sure. It’s completely covered a metal archway and grown up into the hawthorn hedge that cuts across part of the garden. It’s loaded with these gorgeous cerise roses. A good dry and cool day in the garden but I had to stay inside to receive 2 parcels and the second didn’t turn up until 2.30. Picked another big bowl of raspberries and dug up a one of the potato plants as we’d run out of spuds.
