Kells ARLFC
A bit of a lean day, catching up with domestic bits, grappling with pensions and cutting the grass as it wasn't raining.
A short walk in the evening took me by Kells rugby league ground -
"The Welfare" as they call it. It is a pitch with a view. Ennerdale in the background (8miles in the background).
As a southerner I am a rugby union man but I have respect for these rugby league types, they are as hard as nails. Rugby league is ingrained here and in the surrounding area you are as likely to see kids kicking a rugby ball around as a football.
