Hampshire Hedgerows and Hydrangeas

Today, I visited Hillier's Gardens again, having arranged to meet my friend Caroline, there. This time I cycled along ten miles of quiet Hampshire lanes to reach the Gardens.  Here  is a spot where I heard Skylarks singing high above the  fields on the  other side of this hedgerow  and tall Hogweed stems.
My extra is a collage made of photos I took of some of the many Hydrangea flowers on display in the Gardens. (Lacecap and Mophead flower heads.)
This evening I had been invited to join a group of people representing a variety of local organizations for a Parish Climate Fresk workshop event. We learned more about climate change, and discussed what we could be doing locally to reduce our Carbon footprint. It was good to meet up with like minded people, and make more connections between local groups. We look forward to arranging more meetings, open to all local residents, on improving home insulation, alternative energy sources, reducing food waste, car -free transport strategy, etc.
