Hitting The Rock

Today I gave my presentation on the Bell Rock Lighthouse to the Rotary Club of Edinburgh at The Scotsman Hotel.

Pat attended a Life Drawing Class at The Scottish Arts Club while I struggled to give my presentation.

Unfortunately the technology facilities offered by the hotel did not cater for my Apple technology. Forewarned of this in a string of emails, I converted the presentation into a PDF file of every ‘slide’. This should have worked, however, the slides could not be projected as a whole image.

However, I managed through it and relied very much on my humour to get to the end.

Judging by the questions and the ‘banter’ that arose it was all well received. More questions followed over lunch.

After the event I walked back to the Royal Botanic Gardens to pick up the car and drive to the Scottish Arts Club to rendezvous with Pat.

I also suffered another bout of food poisoning. How did that happen?
