At the Lake…

The winter trees surrounding the lake at the Taylor Dam give a very different feel to the environment. I love their skeletal look and their muted colours and the winter sunshine lighting up their trunks. I side-tracked to the dam after some tasks in town.
I went to pastel painting at the Art Society gallery this morning. It was so good to catch up with my friends there.
Andy the plumber visited late afternoon to sort out one or two plumbing issues. He is so good to deal with .
My wood burning fire is a “wetback” one . It is heating the hot water supply …. And does a great job. The water is sooo hot!
The last few days have been very cold despite the sunshine the follows the frosts. Several of my friends are feeling like me …. So cold this year.
