Unexpected.

I started the day off with an early appointment with the hand surgeon, and we decided to try a steroid injection to see if it would decrease the triggering of my right middle finger.  So I've a band-aid on my palm.  Then, at dialysis, I learned that I needed two more hepatitis shots.  When I asked why, since I've had so many and got some just last month, it turns out that my bloodwork shows no antibodies to HepB.  So I need to get another series of shots to see if that can change.  If not, they'll just write me off as unable to be protected from HepB and stop giving me shots more than once a year.  Now I have band-aids on each of my shoulders from those shots.

Dialysis itself was okay; once again I was able to watch a movie I like.  Then I did a grocery pick-up on my way home and have been resting and trying to keep cool since then.  The apartment feels warmer than it has been.

My tooth extraction is scheduled for noon tomorrow and since I can't eat less than six hours before, I'm going to have to set my alarm, drink my  breakfast quickly, and go back to bed.  Doug will be taking me and Lex picking me up.  I've never had a tooth pulled before, so I don't know what to expect or how bad the pain will be afterward.

Wish me luck.
