Evening meeting

After a day in the office I went home briefly to have something to eat before heading out again for a public meeting in New Galloway.
It was all about the challenges and opportunities of rural education. Depopulation, ageing population, transport issues etc. affecting the education offer on all levels. There is no straightforward solution, but the discussion within the community has taken off.
