The Vapourer Moth Caterpillar

Apparently not uncommon here in the UK but it's a rare sight for me. 

We were visiting Scotney Castle in Lamberhurst, Kent. We often come here as it is reasonably local. Mr K takes lovely shots of the beautiful castle while I enjoy hunting for the many insects beside the water.
