The Lowry

(Or is it a re-forming Terminator...?)

Finished packing in the morning, then Tim drove us up to Salford after lunch.  Had a good journey and got there around 6pm - and checked into our hotel.  We'd taken sandwiches with us in case we got hungry on the journey - we hadn't, so we ended up having them for dinner instead.  Not quite the meal out we'd planned, but they were tasty, and we still had a nice wander around Salford Quays afterwards.  We'd hoped to go to the Lowry tomorrow, but it's closed on Mondays.  It put on a nice show via reflections in the quays though. 

Had a wander round Media City, scoping out where to go the next day - feeling nervous but excited!  (Spoiler alert: I can't say much just yet, but I'm going to be on the telly on 22 August.)  And then a nice relaxed evening back in our hotel room, with a calming glass of Tim's home made wine.
