Monkshood and Meadowsweet

A pair of blackbirds were sounding their alarms outside this morning - on further investigation I spotted a wee stoat on the wall opposite - guess it was looking for their nest. I didn't manage to capture the stoat (on camera) but I rather liked this meadowsweet and monkshood combo in our front garden while I was out there. 

Another day of work interspersed with resting. One more day to get fit for The Dalkeith Show on Saturday. I'm feeling better just dog tired - praying this doesn't flare the long-covid again. It's only the past few months I've been getting a bit of life back after the last time (2 years ago).  Everything crossed.
