Parent (G.Parent!) Drop-In

It was drop-in today after school. I wasn't expecting it, although I'd heard of it happening but had no idea what it meant!
I had two classes to drop into so by the time I got the girls together there were no seats in either classroom so we were sitting on the floor, not something my legs and joints particularly enjoy doing. But it was worth it to look through the books that the girls had been doing their term work in. They have come a long way in the past 2 and a bit months (seems longer somehow!). I was really impressed with their writing and other skills they have been practicing, particularly as they are still in reception, and on their third school in a year.
