Silly me

I went to Cotswold lavender farm this afternoon. Took lots of spare lenses and everything. Got there and discovered I’d left the camera at home!
Grrrr.
Had my phone though.
The place has changed since I last went. The lovely little indoor cafe and gift shop where you could sit down with a civilised china cup of coffee has been closed and now there are just huts outside with temporary loos, coffee in big cardboard buckets, yuk, and a few plants for sale also their lavender scented gifts which you had to ask for rather than being able to look at and pick up in the shop. I suppose it’s because they’re only open to the public while the flowers are out which is a fairly limited time in Summer.
The lavender was as lovely as ever, but the “wildflower” meadows , extra were absolutely stunning and a riot of colour.
There were quite a lot of bees and a few butterflies but not in the numbers you would expect.
