Dreich

Today was a perfect example of the Scottish word 'dreich' - a grey, overcast, cool, persistently rainy and drizzly October day. Pity it's mid-July. After taking several photos of raindrops on leaves, I decided that this one, of the roses waiting to break out into flower once we (hopefully) start getting the warmer weather back by the beginning of next week, set a bit more of an optimistic note.
