It stayed dry until late afternoon. I took garden recycling to the tip then continued to Skelwith Bridge for a short walk. I stopped at Skelwith Force for photos and took more along the riverside but it’s a shot of the ringlet butterfly that came top for today’s blip. It might be the only butterfly I photograph this year . . . I’ve seen very few.

The rest of the morning was spent on the cleaning job I started yesterday. After lunch a drive to Windermere but it was a wasted journey as Lakeland didn’t have any stock of what I wanted and have no idea when they will. I did buy bread in Booths.

Home to Wimbledon and Jamie Murray in the mixed doubles.
