Day at a Time

Ras-el-hanout

The local environmental organisation - Forth Environment Link - is promoting Plastic Free July today and tomorrow. At their active travel hub beside the railway station there are a couple of stalls. One of them had tiny cardboard pots and spice jars. The idea is that you help yourself to a bit of what you need rather than buy a jar which languishes in the cupboard. As well as a couple of spoonsful of Ras-el-hanout I took a pinch of sumac. I'm making a tagine next week. What a great idea.

I'm off to Glasgow with my daughter. She's then travelling onwards to Bristol for a few days with my sister and BiL. They'll be having a lovely time I'm sure.

I'm out this evening with my local friends. Always a good night.
