Walks

Called parents and sister multiple times today but they didn’t pick up. Father was upset over me not wishing him. But was pleased by the birthday flowers I sent for him. Sister was at the marble shop buying tiles for the basement renovation. When she called later she was still upset with father’s behaviour.

I felt a lonely today overall. Work was good, productive and my model and the document are shaping well along with other adhoc work placed on me. I also walked along the canal today during work hours, which is unusual but I have seen people who get re-energised after a walk so I thought why not?

Later, after work I walked again to Newington’s Tesco. I have been to Newington limited number of times since shift to Bruntsfield. It was a nice walk! I came back with a big slice of watermelon!
