Congratulations!
Bit of a lie in then I went over to Soutra to meet VW for coffee and a catch up. We settled in with some brunch and coffee and talked non stop for nearly three hours…lots to discuss about house moving, funerals, children and grandchildren, holidays, plants etc
It rained solidly pretty much all day…really miserable weather, but it didn’t interrupt my plans as when I got back to A&N’s I’d already decided to get down to some admin work and I powered through quite a lot of stuff and was pleased to start feeling on top of stuff again. Also started on a bit of photo editing, trying to delete those I don’t need or which aren’t very good since my iCloud storage is groaning with too many photos.
Once A was home from work I took her and N out for a celebratory supper for their new jobs. We had a lovely time at the Buccleugh Arms in St Boswells (although I’m not sure the food was as good as I’d heard it was), chatting about all sorts as we ate and N planning how he thinks life will pan out once he starts and all the new friends and connections he’ll make.
Some Dutch people in the next door bar were enjoying the football (for a while!) but we heard the final result on the drive home which won’t have pleased them! Lovely evening and they were both buzzing!
