Laundry day, I have been keeping up with my washing and drying it either on Line outside or within the van. Unfortunately, it’s been rather damp so I collected a fair bit of laundry that needed doing.
I found a launderette in Okehampton after purchasing some detergent in Waitrose.
Several of you have commented that my hat seems to attract blips which does seem to be correct, today’s being yet another example.
This young lady owns a little craft shop and somehow managed to sell me a bee and snail to perch on my hat!
We shared Christian sentiments and enjoyed conversation before I headed along the street for a warm drink in the drop in café. It was a craft day some people knitting some crocheting some doing jigsaws all in all generally happy place..
After collecting my laundry I decided to dry it back at the campsite, the sun was shining and there was plenty of nice breeze.
I’m heading to the site. The owner came across with a piece of paper saying that I was to leave tomorrow morning. !
She wasn’t happy I put two bikes and a bag containing spare wheels in her barn She thought there was only one. There was room for 50.
Anyway she was happy to give me a refund and advised me of another site in a farm further on towards Roadford Lake.
A recce proved successful and I shall be able to stay there as from tomorrow morning.
More sorting of my belongings that I emptied from the container before another hearty Bowl of rabbit stew, jalapeño sourdough bread.
