for a swim with E on a warm day in Portland. In the extra she’s waving from the pool. It seems to me every child should have the opportunity to learn to swim. Although the Parks And Recreation Budget is constantly challenged, a few pools are readily available and lessons can be had if one is determined. I spent Summers learning to swim in a public pool in the small community in California where I grew up. It’s a great pleasure of mine and E enjoys swimming too!
