Last Day-itis

And the last day was suddenly upon us, it was noticeably cooler and we only managed one pool session today. Will is now a dab hand at removing the pool cover in the morning by himself, today it was perfectly straight.

We were up and out and at em by midday and went to Shanklin. Daisy dedicated two hours to touching all the potential gifts for her friends, she does struggle with a decision. All my helpful suggestions were ignored so we went to the pub and ate crab sandwiches.

And then home. For the first time in a week, Will was a little lost and was wandering round begging people to play with him when all we wanted to do was read a book and nap in the sunshine. I managed to struggle up to an upright position and we went to explore the jungle part of the garden. (Not the mental jungle part, where there are still paths) and played on the forgotten swing. Will took the tape measure in case we needed to measure something but it turned out to be unnecessary.

This is a fantastic place for a holiday, the weather has obviously helped but I would recommend it to anyone (except people I didn't like). Our house and garden is going to feel ever so small......
