Strange, Lonely(?), Happy(?) Child(?)

      "When Ah was a lad…" the going expression was -"More to be pitied than laughed at."  Have we really changed SO much?  Is  THAT why I almost have an attack of Optical leakage?
      I say "child" on the strength of her behaviour, but, on"development" ,she could have been mid-teens.  
      Lonely, possibly, Happy probably as she galloped her faithful steed along the road and back several times; apparently oblivious to my presence; NOT that I'd dream of approaching her, I think I can guess her "home".
       For which reason I shot her galloping away rather than towards; not a very "galloping" picture, but didn't want to waste.
