Day 3 Rhine Route

Very hot 86 km ride from Strassburg to Karlsruhe, along the Rhein, but we didn’t see much of the actual River! There weren’t so many places to stop around lunchtime, everywhere was closed on a Tuesday, so we seemed to just kept going, it was about 32deg. The route finding was very tricky, and we took a few wrong turnings. I was very happy to have an air conditioned room in Karlsruhe. It was incredibly hot when we walked into the city to look around and have dinner, we had Chinese, pretty good, we were pretty hungry. We went for a look around the palace and gardens, then took the U Bahn, 3 stops back to the hotel. We watched the football France vs Spain with the AC on!
