The Chalice

After physio this morning I took a walk around Cathedral Square to see the art work that has gone up. There was a lovely planting of flower which well looks good in a few weeks and some colourful designs on the fences.

I chose this shot as it shows the base of the Chalice and some of the design work on the fence. The building behind is the Millennium Hotel. The hotel is repairable but they haven't decided what they are going to do with it yet. The on the right is the Back of New Zealand which is about three quarters of the way down. It was found to have asbestos so has been left at that stage for now.

It was a cold start and the sun did come out for a while, then clouded over and it is cold again. The washing didn't dry too well!
