Seeing Things

I have been ploughing through this 425-page tome, a Christmas gift from Miss Flum in 2022, and, at page 270, have yet to hear of the creation of my hero, Bagpuss. 

In fact, when we visited him in Canterbury, I wasn't aware of the previous work of Postgate and Firmin apart from Ivor The Engine who, it appears, preceded him by several years, along with the Pingwings, Noggin the Nog, The Pogles and the Clangers - even Basil Brush.

I am learning so much about Oliver Postgate's life - and to discover that at one time he lived in the area of our recent accommodation in Kent. He died in 2008.
