Wednesday: The Menai Strait

Another drizzly day, we had breakfast and headed for Waitrose - there are some items which we can only buy there, I stocked up on some fresh greengrocery too.

We stopped in the long lay-by so that I could take some photos of our famous and beautiful bridges with the island “Ynys Gored Goch” - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2199948  and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menai_Strait

The 4-way traffic lights which held us up on Monday are still there so we came back along the A5/A55 through Llangefni where MrD popped into Lidl for a few items.

Watched “Great British Sewing Bee” this afternoon, rain was pouring down for most of afternoon and continued until bedtime.

Watched a few episodes of “Spooks” this evening.
