Loggerhead

Apparently where we are is one of only three places in Europe where Loggerhead Turtles nest. The nests are marked on the beach, and some (not all) of them have little runways down to the sea. I haven't seen any yet, I think it's a bit early in the cycle, but I'm very impressed that everyone seems to adhere to the 'rules' about not disturbing them or being on the beach after dark.
