Bee on Knapweed

The mini meadow is undergoing another transformation as the hawkbit, campion, sorrel etc die back and turn to seed heads and the knapweed, loosestrife and willow herb show off their different pinks.  The insects have been hovering around the knapweed all day.

I was out early to walk down to Bingley to catch the train to Saltaire and my  recorder lesson, which went quite well.  Back on the train I messaged Tony to come and meet me at the Craft Cafe for cuppas after I picked up the winter duvet from the Launderette.   Tony dropped me off in the village and I walked up to Angela's for a circuit of the caravan park.

After lunch I took a bowl up to the Allotment and picked the first of the blackcurrants, washed and froze them for future coulis.  Then it was time to prep the lamb casserole and put it in the oven before I was off to Pilates.  I'm watching Repair Shop now before The Sewing Bee and yawning!
