L.R.P.
We had a very pleasant day out at our local RSPB reserve - Old Moor. the weather was a bit undecided at first, but then it brightened up and was very pleasant. The reed bed trail was closed, and we didn’t see as many dragonflies as I’d hoped, and only one butterfly - a Brimstone, but this was all made up for when we went into the Wader Scrape hide and saw two species of wildly different birds; one was this charming Little Ringed Plover, and the other was a Spoonbill (see extras).
