Balloon Flower

A nice normal day with my sister today after yesterday’s exertions moving furniture around. She’s a very good gardener, and it was looking beautiful out there today with plenty of different blooms and buds. She has two different colours of Balloon Flower (Platycodon grandiflorus), named after the balloon-shaped buds. I don’t think I’ve seen this flower before, it’s lovely.

Home I tried to call Colchester City Council to discuss the council tax account for the bungalow. It was 4.30pm, but the lines are only open 9am-2pm Monday to Friday. Oh well, I’ll try again tomorrow….
