A friend has been trying to get hold of a particular watch for some time and I’ve been phoning the Swatch store in Edinburgh off and on for weeks to see if they have it in stock. They never have. But today they did. So I went into town to get it. And 30 seconds after I had paid, I got my friend’s text reply saying they had already managed to get one (maybe - it’s on order). Such is life. It got me out of the house :)

Walked home. Walked the dog. Read a bit more of my book. Slowly settling into this ‘not working’ lifestyle.
