Back In The City
Temperature +23. Sunny. Moderate wind from the southwest.
The week in the country passed all too quickly.
In addition to seeing our loved ones there wasn't much time left from taking care of things for anything else this time. However, we managed to see beautiful landscapes and do the most important garden work.
We came home yesterday.
There were warnings of thunderstorms all morning and we were in a hurry to get into the car with our things before the rain. Light rain started already inside the municipality's borders, and we drove through a thunder and rain front halfway and still before Helsinki. It rained a lot of water, even hail, luckily only part of the way. The sun was shining at home, and the trip ended well. I was very happy to still be able to drive. We were exhausted, but everyday life started right this morning, wake up at 5 o'clock.
Today we only popped in the allotment because I had the physio in the evening. All was very fine in the garden.
In the picture our common marigolds (Calendula officinalis) are flowering in bright sunshine in a cultivation box.
